Save the lives of our veterans who suffer from PTSD! 22 veterans are committing suicide a day- that we know of!
The Paws for a Cause Foundation raises funds for the training of service dogs and underwrites the costs of socializing companion dogs for veterans. We are partnered with Woods Humane Society, along with New Life K9s-who are partnered with Bergin University and now California Men's Colony (CMC).
On the military side, we work with the Central California Coast Chapter of Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), Vandenberg Chapter of the Military Order of World Wars, and the Marine Corp League 680 to find veterans who would benefit from a service or companion dog.
A kick-off luncheon for Paws for a Cause- K9s for Warriors (PFAC) will be at noon on March 11th at Madonna Inn. Lunch is $22.00 per person. Limited seating available, reserve a space by March 4. Call 805-710-0332 for more information about Paws for a Cause, or to book a seat for lunch.
