Rotarians Heading to India for NID

Another group of Rotarians from District 5240 will be heading for India to participate in a National Immunization Day (NID) in the Uttar Pradesh region. The team will be led by PDG Anil Garg (Simi Valley). This is Anil's 12th NID trip to India. The trip follows exciting news recently released regarding no new polio cases in India for one year! In order to be certified as Polio free, there must be no new polio cases for 3 consecutive years. It is important that these NID trips continue in order to achieve the ultimate goal of a polio free world.  The team leaves on Feb 14 and will return home on Feb 27.  Good luck Anil and team!
