Tori Wilson has been involved in Rotary and Interact for 13 years now (she’s 17), and The Acorn and LeadYoung published two stories on her involvement this year. (See links below)
 
Tori has worked with
  • Group 4’s Community Service Day over the ears, and chaired the Group 4’s Interact Rotary Youth: Save Our Soldiers event for two years (raising over $4,000).
  • She sat on the District Conference committee in 2016 and was at the District Assembly in 2016 and 2017.
  • She has led the Westlake High School Interact for 3 years (sponsored by Rotary Club of Westlake Village), and led her club’s support of the Westlake Street Fair and Westlake Village YMCA events.
  • She was given a RYLA scholarship in 2016 by the Westlake Rotary Club.
  • She has co-starred in one of Rotary Club of Thousand Oaks’ Demotion programs, participated in the Thousand Oaks Street Fair and Conejo Valley Days Chili Cook-Off for years.
  • She supported the clubs efforts with Backpacks for Kids, My Stuff Bags, the Super Bowl Parties and Fireside Chats, and most recently, Hospice of the Conejo for PP Susan Murata
  • She also supported Rotary Club of Conejo Valley turkey deliveries over Thanksgiving for years
  • She is a Paul Harris Fellow and has completed Intro to PRLS and 2 additional classes of Master PRLS.
 
Her father, Denis Wilson, a Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Thousand Oaks, couldn’t be prouder. "She is taking this mindset forward and plans to get into Rotaract this fall at University of San Diego. She is majoring in International relations and pre-law. With her hope being post-graduate dual degrees: M.A. Peace and Justice / J.D. International Law from the Kroc School of Peace and Justice at USD."
