Each year, The Rotary Club of Carpinteria Morning raises funds by raffling off an e-bike, with all proceeds supporting local nonprofit organizations and their community projects.
This year, we’re proud to share that we raised $19,000 to donate. We were fortunate to have the support of the Interact Club, whose members enthusiastically helped sell raffle tickets at our local Avocado Festival. Their involvement was amazing!
Many of the nonprofits we support are youth-focused or youth-led. By partnering with the Interact Club, we not only raised funds but also gave these young volunteers firsthand experience in community service and philanthropy. Engaging with youth in this way helps them understand the impact of giving back—and inspires future leaders. We also make a point to reach out to other young individuals in the community, inviting them to participate and encouraging them to become future club members. We even made the news!
