Rotary Club of Carpinteria Noon recently toured the facilities of Direct Relief International in Goleta, CA. As a Vocational Service project, the goal was to gain an understanding of how this international organization grew from the efforts of a few good people and volunteers to what they are today.

The warehouse was built for them, and they now provide ongoing humanitarian aid throughout the United States and 80 other countries, providing relief and medical care to impoverished areas or areas suffering from recent disasters. They welcome Clubs of all kinds and gratefully accept donations of time and treasure.
