At Simi Sunrise Rotary, we know that service and fellowship go hand in hand. As part of the Family of Rotary, we make it a priority not just to work together, but to enjoy life together—and this past year has been full of moments that brought us closer as a club and as friends.
From the glow of holiday lights to the warmth of summer barbecues, our calendar was filled with events that reminded us just how special our Rotary family is. We kicked off the holiday season with a magical boat ride through Ventura Harbor, where twinkling lights and laughter set the tone for a festive year ahead.
Spring brought adventure and nostalgia as we gathered for camping and a picnic at Corriganville, a local gem full of history and natural beauty. It was the perfect setting for connection, conversation, and plenty of s’mores!
We also enjoyed a theater night out, complete with dinner and great company, and spent a cozy evening savoring good food and even better wine at a member’s home during our wine tasting event. And of course, no Rotary year would be complete without a good old-fashioned BBQ, generously hosted by one of our members. These events were more than just gatherings—they were opportunities to strengthen the bonds that make our club so special.
