After being approached by Greg Ellis of the local non-profit "One Cool Earth," the Rotary Club of Paso Robles Sunrise decided it was time to donate some "Sweat Equity" back to our community. The focus of our first project was to be the rejuvenation of the student gardens at Georgia Brown Elementary School. After conducting a job walk with Greg, we signed up our volunteers and equipment needed and went to work.

Over the course of four workdays, we were able to hand the cleaned-up areas back to the students in time for them to plant their next crops and implement their "Adopt-A-Crop" program. As this project went so well, we are now looking to start planning our next school garden “Sweat Equity” project again in conjunction with One Cool Earth!
