Rotary Club of Carpinteria Morning President Kim Fly couldn’t help getting fired up talking to Past District Governor Sandi Schwartz about her Ride To Nowhere.  If Sandi, could raise over $18,000, the Carpinteria Morning Club could certainly raise a couple thousand dollars.

So the challenge was born...

...Hike To End Polio- 9/12/19 to 10/18/19 -Back To School Challenge. The challenge was open to anyone that wanted to participate and willing to get themselves a sponsor or sponsor themselves. In addition, anyone who couldn’t hike was welcome to walk, bike, dance or get a friend to hike on their behalf.

By the final day, 50% of the club participated, friends of the club participated and even friends from other Rotary Clubs joined the fun. Together we raised over $5000.
