From the Membership Toolbox:
- Asking your fellow members about people they know in the community who would be an asset to your club is an important step in membership growth. Have your club do the “Finding New Club Members” exercise. It’s available at https://my.rotary.org/en/document/finding-new-club-members-prospective-member-exercise
- Do you know a local professional who wants to be part of Rotary, but is worried about having enough time? Do you want to establish a connection or partnership with an area business or corporation? If the answer is yes, corporate memberships might be an option for your club. Check our the “Guide to Corporate Membership” available at https://my.rotary.org/en/document/guide-corporate-membership
- Just as routine doctor’s visits help us identify health risks before they become serious, a club health check can diagnose problem areas and prescribe remedies. When is the last time your club has done a “Health Check”? If it’s been awhile, head over to https://my.rotary.org/en/document/rotary-club-health-check to get a copy of the Rotary Club Health Check.
- Take your club from good to great! Rotary’s Be A Vibrant Club leadership plan challenges members to revitalize their clubs and better engage new and established members. Check it out by going to https://my.rotary.org/en/document/be-vibrant-club-your-club-leadership-plan-north-america
Need help with membership? We have people who are ready, willing and able to help your clubs out with membership. Feel free to reach out to our District Membership Chair Lee Ginsburg (RC Westlake Village) leeg@michaelstravel.com if you have questions or need assistance.
Until next month…. Let’s GROW ROTARY!
