The Rotary Club of Ojai had a Rotary New Member Social yesterday (Sunday, May 25th), organized by Membership co-chairs Bill Prather and Sue Gilbreth, and hosted by the Queen of Fun herself, member Fern Barishman. The wine flowed and appetizers and desserts were abundant. New member Colin Hurren wowed us by bringing a traditional English bread and butter pudding with cream he baked AND a bottle of cold chardonnay! Extra points. How happy do we look?
Bill had some great Membership questions for the group such as “What is your favorite thing that happened in Rotary this year?” And “What would you like us to do that we aren’t doing now?”, which generated some wonderful responses and great discussion. President Wendy Barker (center) has quite an enthusiastic group.
We just enjoyed being with each other so much!
