Subject: US Rotary Clubs are needed to host Open World Delegations

Dear Action Group Officers,

I’m writing you to introduce the Open World Program (a program funded by the Congress of the United States) that offers Rotary clubs in the US a unique opportunity to enhance international understanding and peace by hosting emerging leaders from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Russia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.

Some of you may recall, I reached out to you last year with a similar message. US-based Rotary clubs are needed again this year to host delegations for eight days and nights (six participants per delegation) and prepare a professional program related to business, community, and civic life in the United States. You can view the 2020 hosting themes here.

I’m reaching out to you because some of the 2020 Open World themes (see attached) are closely related to your area of interest. Please share this opportunity with your members in the US at your earliest opportunity as the registration deadline to host delegations is 11 September.

All resources the interested clubs may need regarding the program can be found here at https://www.rotary.org/en/get-involved/rotary-clubs. Questions and registration forms can be sent to Natalia Kunzer, Program Officer, at Natalia.Kunzer@rotary.org.

Thank you for sharing this opportunity with your fellow US Rotarians.

Best regards,

Zuhal
