On April 28th, Bakersfield East Rotary proudly sponsored and took part in an inspiring Peace Pole Ceremony hosted by St. Vincent de Paul Center. Funding for the project came from Bakersfield East and Bakersfield West Rotary, and another organization.

This heartfelt event united our community to unveil a powerful symbol of peace—reminding us daily to nurture harmony in our thoughts, words, and actions. The phrase, “May Peace Prevail on Earth,” displayed in English, Spanish, American Sign Language, and Braille, embodies Rotary’s dedication to inclusion, unity, and service.

We’re honored to support initiatives that uplift our community and foster cross-cultural understanding. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this meaningful moment possible.
