The Rotary Club of West Ventura County hosted the 41st Annual Rotary Career Fair held March 16, 2026, at the Performing Arts Center in Oxnard. This well attended event was started by our local Rotary Club in 1985. Students from local high schools spent the morning meeting professionals from our community and learning about a wide range of career opportunities. The event once again reflected Rotary’s long-standing commitment to supporting youth and helping them prepare for the future.

Representatives from the military, public safety, skilled trades, agriculture, business, healthcare, education and technology volunteered their time to meet and speak with students about their career paths. With over 85 booths presenting representatives shared their experience, discussed education and training requirements. They also offered practical advice about entering their specific field and the workforce in general. The interactions were engaging and meaningful, giving students a clearer understanding of the options available to them after graduation.
The success of this Career Fair was made possible by the efforts of Oxnard Union High School District, participating businesses, school partners, community volunteers and local Rotarians who believe in investing in the next generation. Year after year, this event strengthens the connection between our schools and local industries while demonstrating Rotary’s commitment to Service Above Self. The Rotary Club of Ventura County is proud to continue this important tradition in Oxnard.
