In celebration of Earth Day, the Rotary Clubs of Thousand Oaks and Conejo Valley partnered with Conejo Park District, Conejo Open Space Conservation and Larry Baker's wonderful Scouts and Scouts families to clean up the South Fork of the Arroyo Conejo.
This part of the creek runs to the Calleguas Creek that eventually goes into the ocean at the Mugu Lagoon! Our crew of 34 collected an amazing 2 1/2 tons of trash! Then we rewarded ourselves with a wonderful lunch at a local small restaurant.
