Several years ago the Rotary club of Grover Beach started the community service project of putting on a trunk or treat in the city of Grover Beach. The city’s parks and recreation department has come in the past few years to help out. We hand out candy and serve hotdog dinners. Last year we serviced over 500 children and families.
Our police department, other local rotary clubs, businesses and community members have now become involved. Last year interact members brought out two cars to hand out candy and help out with hotdog serving. We are very proud of interact members for taking on the project and not running out of candy.
