Fourteen members of Westlake Village Sunrise met at Art Trek on Friday, March 3, 2023, to help with a Peace Project. While some members volunteered at Art Trek in the past, holding a regular meeting at Art Trek was an opportunity for newer members to learn about Art Trek.
Members had lots of fun while helping with a special project to create peace pickets that will be displayed around town. Some brought their artistic talent. Others brought their willingness to try something new and to color within the lines!
In addition to Westlake Village Sunrise and Art Trek, other collaborators for the Peace Picket Project include the Arts Council of the Conejo Valley, National Charity League, Villa Esperanza, Boys Team Charity, Ladera Elementary School, Art Trek Community Paint Nights, and Home Depot.
